PH: 360 3397.Garnet Station, estb 2007, is a much loved, sunset bathed, neighbourhood bar, performance space and venue. All the different spaces in and around the bungalow are like the platforms at the Station, and in 2022 we unveil a fresh destination – the ARTbar –a design gallery curated by Verity George, featuring original art works by Lisa Prager, as well as one off object d'arts. Open for art appreciation,bevies stimulating conversation, comestibles and FUN.

FUNctions, thespians and musos can hire the bar, lane or garden for a private party or performance. ARTbar serves boutique wine, craft beer, creative cocktails and beer on tap: Garnet Lager, BRB Southern Pale Ale and Asahi Super Dry Black, complimented by quirky bar snacks and joyful maximalism.

The Tiny Theatre (seats 35) has a stage, sound, lights, a screen, projector, trestle tables, outdoor chairs and a secret cottage garden to enjoy. The hourly community hire rate is $25. There is no venue hire for a party because the drinks and food are supplied by us. For a Fairy Party contact fairiesinc.co.nz. For ticketed theatre events we take a percentage fee, and send out a monthly newsletter to our 1000 strong database. Came in for wifi, but ended up making friends with the staff, really nicely laid out place, perfect vibe for a local. Everything we ordered was done with organic fresh and delicious veggies. Pizza is best I have had in town. Brownies are also top picks.
